About Cooperative Asnli
The Asnli Cooperative was founded in the village of Ait Yafr on May 25, 2017. The village of Ait Yafr is known for the simplicity of its residents — the men mainly rely on beekeeping for their livelihood, while most of the women work in traditional weaving.
The village is part of the Imouzar Marmoucha region, which is known for its strong resistance against colonial occupation. It belongs to the Boulemane Province, located south of Fes. The area is distinguished by its beautiful natural landscapes and stunning waterfalls, and it could be a major tourist destination were it not for the marginalization it faces and the weakness of its infrastructure.
